Herron Island

Labor Day weekend was spent at Herron Island. Katie and I went early, ate geoduck and lamb, played nertz, fished for oysters, looked at baby raccoons, and went kayaking. Then the rest of the fam showed up and we partied, laughed, played volleyball, dug for geoducks, had a fire, BBQed, rode around the island in the back of the truck, ran away from bees, watched the deer, and laughed some more. I had a blast, and hope to do it again very soon!

Just one funny pic from the ever important Volleyball Game

Hi, I found your blog post through a search for “Nertz”. It is cool to see others that know about the game. I hope you don’t mind but I wanted to let you know about playnertz.com, the site for the National Nertz Association. There is a bunch of interesting Nertz information there and you can also find out how to play Nertz online there. I hope you will check it out. Feel free to join and also let your friends and family know. Thanks

NertzFan- I would normally just ignore a comment like this, but I actually like the game. It cracks me up that you like it so much to be part of the association. Way to go. I will be telling everyone I know about this game :) don't you worry.
