Scallions

I just learned something new and I thought I should share. Take a bunch a green onions (scallions) and use the top half for whatever you deem necessary. Keep the other half with the whites still attached. Normally, I would just throw this back in the fridge, but NO. Instead, put the bunch in a cup of water so that the whites are submerged and they will REGROW in a couple of days. Awesome. I love new things.

Did anyone already know this? Just wondering.
